The colorful wooden kitchen is sturdy, built to withstand even the toughest of toddlers, and features a red, white and blue theme. It includes a three burner cooktop and an oven with knobs that click. There is a removable sink with a tap. And lots of storage in the refrigerator and shelving area beneath the bench top.
The height of the bench top is a very good, suiting children of different ages. It has a super little work area, complete with cutting board. And, for your detail oriented budding cook, there’s even a real working timer, too.
While it may sound like this toy kitchen will need an entire room with all its features, it’s actually a compact role-play toy. Some other toy wooden kitchens do take up lots of room, and that’s fine as long as you have the extra space. This little wooden kitchen, however, is so compact it’ll fit nicely into most children’s rooms or playrooms without being in the way.
Some assembly is required, but from all reports, Melissa and Doug’s toy kitchen is easy to put together.
